Ken and Kitty Shelton started Shelton Covenant Ministries (SCM) in 2001.
SCM’s mission statement is, “to minister God’s grace to the most people possible and to equip others to do the same.” The following are some ways this mission is being realized:
- Through interactive online ministry (www.GracePointeGlobalChurch.com)
- Planting and organizing churches
- Ministering at conferences, churches and special events
- Writing books and music
- Worship concerts
- Helping educate ministers through Destiny Christian University
- Counseling
- Providing ministry credentials and nonprofit ministries for applicants
Both Ken and Kitty have been in the ministry their entire adult lives. They have three adult daughters and several grandchildren who are also involved in local church life. The Sheltons have served in youth, Christian education, music/worship ministry, and have pastored the same church for over forty years. Their experiences and ministry interests have a broad range. Kitty is a public school teacher and Ken is a singer-songwriter. Because of their education and many interests they are able to help others recognize and grow in their own ministries.
The Sheltons value grace, faithfulness, cooperation, education, family life, and authentic relationships. By joining their ministry you will become part of their spiritual family. This also holds true for SCM’s parent ministry, Evangel Association of Churches and Ministries (EACM). Together, they help thousands of people, just like you, identity and pursue God’s call on their life.
